I welcome opportunities to contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.
The areas I am keen to offer my contribution include Afro-Atlantic musical traditions and their learning ecologies. I particularly interested in how these can be translated into structured activities helping to narrow the gap between embodied practices and their academic codification. I seek collaboration with academic communities and educators driven by an interest in interdisciplinary approaches that integrate performance, research, and pedagogy believing understanding grows through the convergence of multiple perspectives.

My teaching approach is based on my music experience as a performer, educational background, and research experience. Drawing on theoretical models such as phenomenology, 4E cognition, situated learning, and landscapes of practice, I describe musical practice, learning, and teaching as dynamic systems.
I am available to present and discuss these topics via guest lectures, seminars, or workshops and from a practical or theoretical perspective. I am also available to support the study of individual students or cohorts whose studies are heading towards the spheres of knowledge and practice in which I hold expertise.
